BioFood Cultures Wins 3rd Place at the Ideathon #Xanthi

BioFood Cultures was awarded 3rd place at Ideathon #Xanthi, organized as part of the Piraeus Startup Accelerator programme and held in Xanthi, Greece, on 7–8 February 2026. The team received a €600 cash prize in recognition of its business concept, which focuses on transforming Greek microbial biodiversity into innovative starter cultures and functional microbial solutions for the food and beverage industry. The event provided valuable validation of our vision, as well as opportunities to connect with mentors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
